Below is a short description of the enrichment activity to be offered in Fall 2010. This year for the first time, we are offering semester long activities only. Please note however that there are variable start dates and number of meetings dependant on the school calendar. Sign up for all activities will be VIA THE SCHOOL OFFICE and not directly to the vendor. Please complete the attached form and write your check payable to SSDS. NO CHILD WILL BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND AN ACTIVITY UNLESS PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE IN FULL BY THE FIRST CLASS DATE. If the class does not make the minimum number of participants, the fee for that class will be refunded by SSDS.

ABRACADABRA (WEDNESDAYS)
Thinking Outside the Hat- A Creative Magic Class
Can you mind read the object someone is thinking of? Balance 8 nails on the head of 1? Escape from ropes under impossible conditions? You'll learn these, and much more when you take Thinking Outside the Hat After School Magic Class! Get your own magic box and new tricks daily to show your friends! Participate in a family show! You'll create stories to accompany your tricks; think out of the box; and think analytically to pull off some of the tricks. So in addition to developing presentation skills and confidence in front of a group, this class helps build creativity and thinking skills as well! Tricks are new from previous camps and classes.
